A Glimpse About the FilJap Community The Filjap is affiliated to FFWPU (Family Federation for World Peace and Unification ) as Heavenly Parent Holy Community organized into 3 districts on different areas and groups across Japan as a regional extension of the Philippines. As family-loving, God-loving Filipinos, we feel naturally compelled to support the Philippines providence with great devotion and effort to True Mother's Will so that we can join and accomplish the goal of encouraging everyone in the community to become CheonBo Challengers and eventually as CheonBo Victors. •Filjap serves as a backbone of the Philippine FFWPU Headquarters as family missionaries assuming an important role to support Philippine FFWPU to sustain its organizations and missions, particularly funding the pioneering stages of the movement's projects and activities, from buying the land for the construction of International Peace Leadership College and financially supporting our UPF activities, Tribal Blessing Festivals and many related providential events. •Filjap Blessed Families are very much engaged in HTM mission by extending financial support to HTM areas in Philippines and from time to time visit way back home to be be physically involved directly in activities. Eventually, serve to support all to become CheonBo Families. •Filjap serve to organize various activities for witnessing, even online activities, to educate non-member foreigners in Japan to know the Divine Principle and follow our True Parents' teachings and also extend educating our Philippine sisters married to Japanese brothers to help them keep up with their spiritual life and encourage them to attend Japanese church activities. FilJap started in the early 1990s. Due to the great need for financial support for our movement related activities in the Philippines, Continental Director at that time asked some pioneering members particularly Filipinos matched to Japanese to come to Japan to lay foundation economically for the Philippine providence. Later on from the 1992 Blessing and succeeding batch particularly among the matched Filipino husbands and Japanese wives by True Parents , were encouraged to participate in this special mission while maintaining and keeping heavenly traditions as Blessed Central Families. The same setup was carried on by the next Continental Director but this time emphasized taking care of our connection as blessed families while supporting major Philippine projects, and establishing the system so we can do our Heavenly Tribal Messiahship mission and also focus on preparing the matching and Blessing of our second generation. At the inauguration ceremony last November of 2021, the new President of Asia-Pacific Region 2, President Masaichi Hori emphasized that we can support Japan FFWPU by witnessing to foreigners and at same time taking care of Filipina sisters who are blessed with Japanese brothers, intended not to affiliated them to Philippine FFWPU but endorse them over to Japan FFWPU while supporting a moral support system in establishing internal connection with Heavenly Parents and True Parents. Therefore, we do the witnessing mission in Japan while financially supporting Philippine headquarter to sustain maintenance needs and its organizations' projects and activities.
